The name of Nu Er Hong Rice Wine comes from a beautiful story. In ancient time, when a baby daughter was born, the parents would carve or paint the jars of wine and bury them underground until the daughter got married. Then the wine would be taken out to feast the guests. So, it is called Nu Er Hong Rice Wine (Daughter Rice Wine).

It is made of glutinous rice and wheat. This wine evolved from the Shaoxing tradition of burying nu’er hong underground when a daughter was born, and digging it up for the wedding banquet when the daughter was to be married.
This Rice Wine that has been aged for more than 16 years in the urn, and blended with black date extract to make it more rich in aroma and more mellower.
Can be drunk on its own and served warm.
