The HELP FOR HEROES Limited Edition is made from a combination of First-Fill Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads. Released with the intent for a percentage of the proceeds to go to a charity, Help for Heroes, which helps British servicemen and women who have been injured in the line of duty. This whisky was drawn from Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon hogsheads with a turnout of 1939 bottles.
Colour: Light gold.
Nose: Sweet-spicy, honey, notes of cardamom, nutmeg. Baklava.
Taste: Dried fruit, burnt oak and pepper
Finish: Long lasting, hints of butterscotch, honey and peat smoke.
Situated on Scotland’s rugged north coast, the Wolfburn distillery was first established in 1821, rapidly becoming the largest distillery in Caithness. Wolfburn is the northernmost distillery within the mainland of the British Isles.
