Kingsbarns Distillery is one of the newer distilleries in Scotland, located in the Fife peninsula, near St Andrews and owned by Wemyss family.
The house style of this Lowlander is elegant, soft and fruity. Its whiskies are predominantly matured in American oak. The distillery building has been converted from a semi-derelict farmhouse into an impressive modern distillery and visitor centre, at the heart of the distillery is an old ‘doocot’ (also known as dovecot) which is subtly incorporated into the Kingsbarns bottle.
