The name Kilkerran is derived from the Gaelic, “Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain” which is the name of the original settlement where Saint Kieran had his religious cell and Campbeltown now stands. Glengyle now produces a range of Kilkerran Single Malt whiskies, all natural in colour and non-chill filtered. All Kilkerran whisky characterises typical Campbeltown drams; rich, complex and perfectly balanced.

Each year, the Glengyle distillery releases two 8 year old cask strength expressions. Limited to 1 bottle per order.
NOSE: Soft peat smoke, leather-bound books and sticky toffee pudding are present on the nose.
PALATE: The familiar rich and dirty character of the Kilkerran 8 year old sherry series is clear to taste. There’s also thick date syrup, blackcurrants, cherries, redcurrants, and a maritime coastal taste.
FINISH: Ashy medicinal smoke, ginger and chocolate oranges.
