This bottling comes from Laphroaig, one of Islay’s iconic distilleries known for its medicinal, and creosote-like phenolic spirit character.

This independent bottling of Laphroaig was aged for 11 years in oak casks, and spent the final 9 months in a sherry octave cask. Octaves being sherry casks that one eighth of a normal cask size. This single cask release from cask #5634779 yielded only 81 bottles, and is presented without chill filtration or added colouring.
