The Deanston Distillery sits on the banks of the River Teith and is located not far from the Stirling. A very picturesque distillery, this distillery was not originally built as a distillery.
Formerly a cotton mill that employed up to 1,500 people, this cotton mill faced an uncertain future in 1965 until it was taken over and converted into this amazing distillery. The old weaving mills of the distillery now the warehouses where Deanston whiskies are matured.
