This exceptional bottle was released in 2018. Fully matured in Bordeaux red wine cask, the smoky peated Bunnahabhain with its nutty and slightly salty house style takes on some incredible rich, dark, red fruit and coffee notes – taking this bottling to quite an outstanding level.
A very limited number of bottles were released.
Nose : Rich fruit & grape, hints of nut & rich oak, toffee & espresso balanced with pepper & smoke.
Palate : Almost layered with rich grape & red wine influence, hints of toffee, chocolate & tobacco, developing into a warming peppery smoke.
Finish : Long & lingering combination of fruit & smoke.
