As the fourteenth release in the Trials & Exceptions series, Archie Rose Smoked Heritage Rye Malt Whisky is one of the very few smoked rye whiskies in the world to ever be produced.

Smoked Heritage Rye Malt Whisky marks a new phase for Archie Rose and its whiskies, incorporating Australian native stringybark wood smoke into the brand’s award-winning Rye Malt Whisky for the first time.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Campfire smoke, nectarines and caramel-coated cashews joined by more subtle notes of hibiscus flower, lime zest and amaretto.

PALATE: Barbecued peaches, caramel-coated cashews and cinnamon team up with green figs, leather and butter menthol.

FINISH: Fruit and caramel transition through to oak and spice, with caraway and allspice intermingling with campfire smoke for a long, complex finish.
