As part of the Day of the Dead celebration, Jose Cuervo has released a Limited Edition design for its Especial Series, named “Calavera”. The Calavera (a word that means “skull” in Spanish) has become one of the most recognisable cultural and artistic elements of the Day of the Dead festivities. This particular bottle was made for 2023’s celebration.

This is a white tequila with a smooth, refreshing and slightly sweet taste, perfect for making a variety of drinks. It is a white, young tequila, made from the mixture of “young” tequilas with tequilas matured in American oak barrels. It has a pleasant aroma and notes of agave with a citrus touch. Its palate is smooth, slightly sweet, leaving a pure and refreshing final taste.
